Helping Swannanoa Valley School Children

And Jesus took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them

Hand in Hand works works with each school to provide basic needs for students. Each year we collect paper and pencils, tissues, backpacks, crayons, scissors and other school supplies.

We also raise money through donations and dinners to fund an account that is used by the schools to pay for students needs. These funds require the approval of both the Principal and a counselor and must fall within a guideline created by Hand in Hand.

The needs over the years have ranged from deodorant and toiletries to shoes, clothes and other school requirements. It has also been used to help pay for school field trips or classrooms fees.

How you can help:

Hand in Hand is always in need of volunteers. We have several fundraisers each year.

We also accept donations.
